Privacy, in plain language.

1. Who we are

ITOKAZE operates this private-opening website and acts as the data fiduciary for information submitted through its waiting-list form. ITOKAZE is an apparel atelier based in Bengaluru, India.

This notice applies to the opening list and this website. A separate notice will apply when customer accounts, appointments or purchases become available.

2. What we collect

When you join, we collect:

• Email address — to send and administer the opening invitation.
• Name — to address the invitation and identify your entry.
• City or area — to understand where opening interest comes from.
• Phone number, if provided — to support opening-list contact when appropriate.
• Consent record — the notice version, purpose and time associated with your choice.
• Referral and campaign information — a referral code and campaign parameters when you arrive through a tagged link.

For abuse prevention and service security, ordinary network information such as an IP address may be processed temporarily. The waiting-list record does not store your IP address.

3. Why we use it

We use this information to:

• create and manage your place on the private opening list;
• send the opening invitation and essential messages about that invitation;
• operate referral codes without exposing another person’s information;
• protect the form from abuse, investigate failures and keep the service secure; and
• meet obligations that apply to us under Indian law.

Joining the list does not place you on a general promotional mailing list. If we later offer broader marketing, that choice will be separate.

4. Consent and choice

We ask for a clear affirmative choice before adding your details. The choice is limited to managing the list and sending the opening invitation.

You may withdraw at any time. Use the private withdrawal link included in our email or contact us. Withdrawal stops future use for the list and places the record into the deletion process; it does not change processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

5. Who receives it

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Access is limited to ITOKAZE and service providers needed to host the website, store the list, deliver email or protect the service. They may process information only for the service we ask them to provide and subject to appropriate safeguards.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights or to respond to a valid request from an authorised public body.

6. How long we keep it

Each waiting-list record receives a scheduled deletion date no later than 365 days after signup. We may delete it sooner when you withdraw or when the opening-list purpose has ended.

A limited record may be retained when necessary to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute or demonstrate that a withdrawal was honoured.

7. How we protect it

The waiting list is isolated from ITOKAZE’s future customer, commerce and body-measurement systems. We use purpose-limited access, rate limiting, anti-bot controls, withdrawal tokens stored as one-way digests and scheduled deletion.

No online service is risk-free. If an incident is likely to affect you, we will communicate and respond in accordance with applicable law.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

• confirm whether we process your information and provide a summary;
• correct, complete or update inaccurate information;
• erase information that no longer needs to be retained;
• withdraw consent; or
• review a privacy grievance.

Email privacy@itokaze.com from the address used to join the list. We may ask for proportionate information to verify the request. Please first allow us the opportunity to resolve a grievance before approaching the Data Protection Board of India where that route is available.

9. Children

The opening list is intended for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect waiting-list information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can remove it.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this notice when the service, our providers or applicable law changes. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and notice version.
